Application Tips

For best results, use when can is 70°F. Clean surface with warm soap and water. Ensure surface is dry before painting. Hold can approximately 6-8” from the surface to be coated. Apply light “mist” coats allowing 5-10 minutes between coats. Several thin coats give a better finish than one heavy coat. Carpet and Velour: Spray one light mist coat and immediately brush in all all directions using a nylon bristle brush. Apply a second light mist coat and brush again.

Safety Information

Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection when painting. Always paint in a well ventilated area away from open flame.

Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seats look like new! Used this product on golf cart seats that were old and faded. They now look like they are new! Covered well with even spray.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product One of my other projects is recoloring an 88 Fiero. I used the Landau Black so I had an idea what to expect from this. This project had nothing to do with cars, but everything to do with new counter tops and kitchen floors, new wall paint and a blue built in window bench that matched nothing and a wife in distress! It now blends in incredibly well, the light buckskin is a great color and durable as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product So far I have used this product to recolor (tan) the black hard plastic interior parts for my 1975 Datsun 280Z. I also plan to use it on the vinyl covered inner door panels. The product covers very well and has a great satin finish that looks very natural. I used the SEM 39863 Plastic Adhesion Promoter on the hard pieces and plan to use the SEM 38343 Vinyl Prep on the soft vinyl pieces. Time will tell, but I hope the durability is as good as the look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Totally dissatisfied. I'm trying to rejuvenate the interior in my '79 Olds Cutlass, which according to the build sheet has tan interior. I ordered SEM #17313 paint which turned out to be not much darker than skin tone. I then ordered SEM #11445Z because of the before and after depiction in the ad. The cans that I got were labeled #15093(Light Buckskin). Again, the color was way too light. So now, I'm nearly $80 spent and still do not have any idea as to what color I should order to get even somewhat close to the original interior color.
