High-Build Primer Surfacer is a flexible acrylic coating for priming steel, aluminum, urethane, fiberglass and plastics.
If you've ever block sanded down to bare metal, here's an easy way to touch up. The SEM High Build Primer Surfacer provides superior adhesion with fast film build and flexibility when priming steel, aluminum, urethane, plastic and other similar surfaces. Sands easily with 320 - 400 grit. One 16 oz net wt. aerosol can covers about 15 square feet.

Sanded to bare metal an entire '00 Volvo S40. I then used the SEM 42003 Black High-Build Primer over the bare-metal car. Has this been a mistake? Do I need to sand off $150 and re-shoot with 2k Primer? What issues could I experience if I leave it HB?

Great product, sprays like a gun/builds thick...sprayed my entire truck with it after filler and prior to blocking. Do I need to have my painter spray another primer/sealer (epoxy?) before base coat? Thanks!
