Spray Max 2k Clear Glamour Aerosol is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great petroleum resistant clearcoat I spent the last six months restoring my 1973 Honda CB500, which included entirely new paint job. The paint held up great, and the clearcoat looked great too...until some gasoline splashed out of the tank. Did some forum research and found the stuff you buy at the auto parts store isn't petroleum resistant, which lead me to Eastwood and the Max clearcoat. This stuff is great, it dried fairly quickly, and it looks incredible. At $25 per can, its not cheap, but then again you get what you pay for. High gloss, durable, heat resistant, definitely worth the price. Want proof? have a look at the final product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Pleased I was a skeptic, but gave Spray Max 2K a try on my car which had the clear coat wearing very thin and looking dull. After sanding the car parts, cleaning and tacking it, I used the Spray Max. It laid down beautifully with minimal effort. I have sprayed with paint guns that were not as effective at laying paint this flat! I haven't even done a cut and buff on it yet and may not because it looks so good. I am most impressed! We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far so good! It's a bit high priced, but I'm impressed with the quality. For do-it-yourselfers, make sure you use an appropriate mask and protective gear. It will require a proper respirator to protect yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product This coating is easy to apply and has wonderful chemical and abrasion resistance. Gasoline just flows right off, and it keeps its shine during ordinary handling that goes along with maintenance of my motorcycles. I've used 4 cans over the past 3 years on vintage motorcycle gas tanks.

Is this product safe to spray over acrylic lacquer color coat?

Asked by: Izznizz
Since this is a catalyzed product there is a chance it could react with the lacquer color coat.

Will this work well for restoring plastic headlights that have hazed? Is an adhesion promoter required?

Asked by: Steve G
No you don't need to sand the headlights you can resto them with colgate tooth paste polishing brand water micro fiber towels rubbing the paste into the lights in a circle motion then rising off the tooth paste and wiping them dry it will take a couple of times to get them back to clear the video is on YouTube plastic headlight cures

Can this product be applied over typical epoxy resin/hardener for UV protection? The epoxy has been fully cured and sanded down.

Asked by: J adam
As long as the resin is completely cured and sanded there should be very little risk of any reaction. This would give you a nice strong UV protection clear.
