Do it with Stainless Steel
This package allowed me to redo the old steel brake lines in stainless steel tubing and fittings. Easy to bend, but a little hard to flare.

Stainless tubing the way to go
This stainless brake line tubing works great for rebuilding lines. I used with flaring tool #25304. The trick is to anneal the tubing first with a hot flame and then make the flare.

Classic Tubing Stainless Steel Brake Tubing
I have replaced the factory brake lines on my Chevy 1999 K2500 Pickup Truck Plow Unit with the 302 Stainless Steel tubing Eastwood distributes.
The 3/16" line is easy to bend and install the 1/4" is a bear. You must have the Eastwood high end bending tools and flairing to work this material it is much harder and more brittle than the OEM mild steel material.
IT was a (P.I.T.A.) to install but in New England where the mild steel rusts out in a couple of years it is a must. Now Why GM dose not install this stuff as standard original equipment part or option is an interesting question.

Done - done
Following a loss of brakes while towing, it will never happen again due to a failed line. Very nice line - a bit pricey and only 14 fittings. Bought the "Triple Head 180 degree Tubing Bender 3/16-3/8 in". I wasn't sure if it would work, but did just fine. Didn't need "Tubing Bender Rolling Item #49041" The "Professional Brake Tubing Flaring Tool Item #25304" was fantastic and easy, although the instructions were more confusing than needed. I see that it is on sale now! Tweeked one joint with "Eastwood Brake Line Forming Tool Item #49074" but probably didn't need it and I sit behind a desk most days. Hope this helps someone else order...

Extremely Impressive
I have worked with a lot of different stainless steel in various projects that I have been involved in and this is by far one of the very best I have worked with. The tubing was surprisingly easy to bend and flair. I highly recommend it

stainless tubing is great
The stainless steel tubing looks great and is alot easier to work with than i thought and with your #25304 flairing tool every flair was perfect !! this is my second order for this tubing, as I already used up the previous one. Its nice to be able to cut and flair your own tubing without having to continuously run to the auto parts store for various lengths of premade brake lines and trying to make them work.
