Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do it with Stainless Steel This package allowed me to redo the old steel brake lines in stainless steel tubing and fittings. Easy to bend, but a little hard to flare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stainless tubing the way to go This stainless brake line tubing works great for rebuilding lines. I used with flaring tool #25304. The trick is to anneal the tubing first with a hot flame and then make the flare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Tubing Stainless Steel Brake Tubing I have replaced the factory brake lines on my Chevy 1999 K2500 Pickup Truck Plow Unit with the 302 Stainless Steel tubing Eastwood distributes. The 3/16" line is easy to bend and install the 1/4" is a bear. You must have the Eastwood high end bending tools and flairing to work this material it is much harder and more brittle than the OEM mild steel material. IT was a (P.I.T.A.) to install but in New England where the mild steel rusts out in a couple of years it is a must. Now Why GM dose not install this stuff as standard original equipment part or option is an interesting question.
