Easy to use, just slide in the Trim Tip, insert a Trim Rivet, gently push the Stud Welder against the surface until the outer ring makes contact, then trigger the gun for.5 to 1 second for a perfect weld.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from overall nice product just recieved it today so haven't used it on actual resoration project yet but we did test how it works on sheet metal. About a second on trigger and the rivet is attached like from factory.... works great thanks Eastwood. Really fast shipping as well.

Would this fit on a Chicago welding stud welder???

With modification by using a M8x 1.25 die for external threads on the motor guard tip then cut it to size length wise.

will this only fit eastwood stud welders?

This is actually made by Motor Guard and we know it fits their stud welders. I may fit other brands as well but we have never tested for compatibility.

Is there an trim stud electrode extension available for the stud gun? it work great on side molding, BUT if your trying to place studs around windshield or back glass the head is so big you can't get correct placement in the window track.
