Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool. It's small enough to work under the car with. Lay your tubeing under the car make the bend and move on to mark the next one .If you get carried away ,You can tweak it with the bending plyers . Flair your ends and mount it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on 3/8" stainless lines I bought this to replace rusted steel fuel-lines on a 1991 corvette. I replaced originally rusted lines with 3/8" stainless steel hard line. This tool bent the material very well. Unfortunately, I made a lot of mistakes, and had to do a lot of redo bends before I got it right. No fault of the tool. I probably made 40 bends with this tool and it never showed any sign of weakness. The only downside, and I am being picky, is that to get the 3/8 stainless tube to bend it takes a fair about of force. The tool withstood it well, but the handles are fairly short so it takes some muscle, particularly if you go past 90 degrees. The 3/8 stainless is probably on the upper end simply due to the about of force it takes. Not a problem though, it does the job fine. I would certainly recommend it. Good product and a great price.

I am trying to bend 5/16 stainless steel transmission lines i have tryed benders from Harbor Fright and the tool just bends not the tubeing (exageration). Will these benders hold up to this project?

Asked by: David Thom
These have been tested to hold up with stainless. Confidently I will say yes, you will have no issues.
