I have a motor home with a fiberglass roof. It has a crack about 5-6 feet long from center to outside edge. I have used a Dicor sealant caulk but crack is opened up again. Will the repair kit be good to use, will it go over the caulk that is on now.

Asked by: Navagator
This Fiberglass Repair Kit will work for your roof repair. We would suggest that you remove the caulk, as we are not sure if the caulking, will adhere with the fiberglass repair kit.

Do weaves fall apart when cut in small pieces?

As with any fiberglass cloth, it always has the potential of getting lose strands. It really depends on what method you use to cut the cloth.

Will the finished surface be smooth ? or have a texture? and if I am repairing cracks in my RV fender skirt will I need o cover the whole skirt or just the cracks?  Thanks!

Asked by: RVMarianne
The finish will have some texture to it, which you could sand a little smother. This product would certainly fill the cracks in the fender skirt.

Need to repair the fiberglass cap on my truck. I have impact damage - one side is worse than the other with about a 1/2 to 1 inch crack about 12 inches long. Would this kit work or could you recommend something else please ? Thank you.

Asked by: lnarko
This kit would be a great way to repair fiberglass prior to applying your body filler. This will give a strong repair.

Question can l use the liquid fiberglass resin and the fiberglass cloth to put over holes that were rusted out.

Asked by: Walter72587
This could be done but isn't necessarily recommended for long term strength since there is not structure under some of it. Consider our No weld patch panel kit for such areas.
