Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Produce I use this product over standard body filler before primer to eliminate pin holes and primer soaking into the filler. Its sands easy, feathers well, and holds shapes during sanding. Things to keep in mind when using: 1. Harder than your standard body filler so it sands at a different rate. So if you break through you may see a low spot. 2. This stuff kicks fast. WAY FAST. Be ready to mix and spread the product before even thinking about mixing. 3. The product is "drippy". Its not a bulk filler. Get your bulk deformity fixed with standard body filler and then reach this to make it perfect.

While we don't test with all paints, most body fillers are compatible with all modern paints once cured and sanded.

how thick can you apply this, what is the curing time?

Finishing putty should be kept as thin as possible. Generally a max of 1/8th inch once sanded.
