Questions & Answers

Would this work well for a stainless steel, turbo exhaust manifold?

Asked by: Karemiah1
This product would work fine as long as you thoroughly scuff the metal to get mechanical bond and you also observe the maximum temperature this product is rated too.

Can this paint be used to paint an aluminium radiator and does it need a prep if so? RJM

Asked by: bomar
The material can be applied to aluminum, but it should not be used on the radiator fins themselves. It could potentially prevent the fins from dissipating heat correctly. For a better result, use our radiator black. http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-radiator-black-paint.html

Two questions. First, how many spray cans are needed for one set of headers for a small block ford? Second is there a way to cure without having the headers on the car? I'm doing a restore project and do not have the engine installed yet. Thx

Asked by: Keefer
1 can for a set of short tube. 2 for long tube. And you can bake it in an oven.
