Questions & Answers

Does wrinkle paint come in any other color? If not can it be coated with a different color paint without losing the wrinkle finish?

Asked by: ronsr
We currently only carry the Black version of the VHT wrinkle paint. We also would not recommend painting over top of it to ensure longevity of the paint.

Hi Product worked great. Prepped aluminum valve cover as recommended. Baked at 200F for ~2 hours. After about 2 years the paint started peeling off the valve cover. What could I do differently? 1. lighter coats 2. High temp primer?

Asked by: T Bear
Peeling is usually caused by lack of wiping the surface with an appropriate degreaser such as our Pre painting prep.
