Description
Zybar is the first do-it-yourself, patented thermal dissipation coating for headers, manifolds, exhaust and turbos. It greatly reduces extreme engine temperatures improving engine performance making wraps, tapes and ceramics obsolete. The ZyBar heat dissipation technology, proven in third party dynamometer testing, improves scavenging performance to increase horsepower and boost torque. Product must have been on the shelf a long time.
Product must have laid on its side for a long time. It was rock hard and took forever to mix enough to use. I should have returned it, but attempted to get the job done. We will see how it goes. Also there are no mixing instructions, hope I thinned it with the right stuff.

Can I apply this rusted headers ?
Zycoat is designed specifically to be applied over clean, media blasted metal, Surface preparation is crticial to the success of this product.

Does it need to be heat-cured; if so can it be done off the vehicle, and how?
Apply and air dry (5 days) or oven cure (450 F for 2 hours).

This is a very durable non corrosive coating.

Why is this called Thermal Dissipation Coating? Does it dissipate the heat or hold it in, as header wraps would do. If so, why isn't it called a Thermal Insulating Coating?
