How to Use 2K AeroSpray Clear Coat
Spray Passes: Use 1-2 spray passes with 50% overlap. Approx. 1.2-mil per spray pass. Allow 3-7 minutes flash between coats depending on temperature.
Drying: Full cure in 12 hours at 68 degrees Fahrenheit, 35-40 minutes at 140 degrees Fahrenheit (IR drying).
Pot Life: Approximately 48 hours after button is pushed and can is activated.
Ideal application conditions: Temperature between 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit at 50% humidity or less.
Safety Information
Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection when using this product. Product contains Isocyanates, wear NIOSH approved breathing equipment. Always use in a well ventilated area away from open flame. Consult MSDS for specific safety warnings.

Best clear in a can!I replaced the tailgate on my truck had to repaint to match. I was able to give it three good coats with just one can and am more than satisfied with the results of this clear. Looks just like I sprayed it from a gun. Will for sure be buying it again for future projects.

Eastwood 2K Aerospray Clear CoatGreat Stuff!!!!
I have used the AeroSpray Epoxy Clear Coat in several applications and had excellent results. I think the best example has been my fresh water ski boat trailer. I primed and painted the trailer with an industrial grade rattle can safety yellow enamel. This was a very good product with high solids, but I was concerned about abrasion resistance and rock chips. I waited thirty minutes after applying the final coat of yellow paint, then applied Aero Spray High Gloss Epoxy Clear Coat while the yellow paint was still soft. The finish quality was excellent, with no dry spray or blending issues. Three years later, the gloss is still first rate with excellent durability. People can’t believe that it’s a rattle can job!

Beats everything else.Novice painter. I've used other store bought clear spray before and those can't hold a candle to this product. This is the best and easiest gloss I've ever used. Great results with this.

Wow! Amazing results!Very high gloss and tough as nails finish. The spray nozzle allows professional results. This entire product from contents to delivery system is top notch. Thank you for such quality and attention to details. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a superior clear coat. I used on a repainted aluminum boat. Dock rash has met its match!
Is it compatible with other brands of spray paint? Have there been instances of blistering?

You would need to ensure compatibility with the manufacturers. Today's products can be chemically aggressive and would surely lift other products, such as lacquers. They need to be "like" products.

Can this product be wet sanded and polished

Yes, Eastwood 2K AeroSpray Clear Coat High Gloss can be wet sanded and polished, just like a traditional two-component clear coat applied with a spray gun.

Can this clear be wet sanded and polished? Or can it be wet sanded and then add 2 more coats of clear on top of it?

Yes, 2K clear can be sanded and polished once it has fully cured. Allow the 2K clear coat to cure fully before sanding and polishing. For example, the Eastwood 2K Clear Coat is dry and polishable overnight, but it reaches its final hardness and chemical resistance in 8-10 days.

Is this coating resistant to solvents? Specifically, ill it dissolve if it comes in contact with gasoline?

Eastwood's 2K Clear Coat is a chemically resistant coating. It is specifically formulated to withstand exposure to chemicals, including gasoline, making it suitable for automotive applications where fuel exposure is common. 2K products are always a better choice when dealing with chemical resistance.

Will this product bond to bare aluminum (wheels)?

Yes it will, but you will first need to scuff the bare aluminum with 320-400 grit sandpaper or a scuff pad (maroon or gray) so it will bite and adhere. As far as the wheels go, We would recommend to not clean the wheels with an acid based wheel cleaner once this has been applied.

Had my alloy wheels professionally refinished by Ultra Gloss. They didn't add enough top clear coats to get the original luster I desired. Can I add a coat or two of this to get a shinier finish?
