When working with the Contour SCT, sometimes there is just not enough room to get the 4 inch wide drum close into the corners of what you are working on. With the Contour SCT Narrow Face Wheel System, you now have the ability to get deep into corners or odd body curves to complete your project. Simply choose what position you want the wheel to be placed (Left, Middle or Right) by installing the Aluminum spacers and the wheel in the correct order.
Always wear ANSI approved protection equipment when using this type of tool. Never attempt to replace a SCT Drum with unit plugged in. Make sure to fully read and understand the instruction manual for this tool before use.
This item fits our SCT tool which has a 19.6mm shaft and 25.6mm ribs.

What is the center mounting hole, I was hoping to use mount this on my 1/2" dia buffer motor?
2nd question, what do you recommend for removing black aluminum oxide on 2024 aluminum?

I work in a woodshop where we construct hollow wood beams for decorative purpose. Some customers request a ruff distressed finish; I use an angle grinder with a wire wheel for that.
would your wire grinder improve my process??

For the Eastwood SCT https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-sct.html we do have to wire wheel options https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-sctr-scale-and-rust-stripping-drum.html and a narrow version https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-sct-narrow-scale-stripping-wheel.html - We also have a finer wire drum https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-sctr-steel-wire-drum.html
On your question, we have not done any testing for a distressed wood finish so I cannot say for sure if it would improve the process you are using now.
