Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job! I bought the complete kit 2 years ago and I needed the replacement discs to remove a 14 inch rivet scratch on the side window of my 79 Fiat. Following the instruction on how to use the discs and kit, I took my time and after 4 evenings of sanding and buffing out the haze with the polishing compound included in the basic kit, the window looked great. I took the window out of the car and did the work in my shop. I have included some pictures of the finished job. The scratch ran from the top of window to the bottom about 1 inch from the back edge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from discs do not hold up I had the polishing kit and I needed the sanding discs to get the deeper scratches out. I went through two of the orange discs (coarse), one blue (medium), and one green (fine) and it still did not get the scratch in the glass out that my finger nail barely could catch on. The surface was left hazy with the scratch still on the glass and the haze would not polish out even with the powder glass polish. I used water the entire time to keep the glass cool and the sanding discs seemed to just wear away extremely fast to the point they were transparent and I could see the backing pad through the plastic of the sanding disc. In my opinion, this was a complete waste of 2 hours and my money !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Good I ordered a set of replacement glass sanding disk and when I received them, they did not have the hook & loop on the back as did the polishing kit that I got from Eastwood. They had a one time use peel & stick and did not last but a few minutes. Do not waste your time on this.

I am wondering how to attach the pressure sensitive to a hook and loop. I bought the scratch repair kit with the hook and loop buffer and the 3 discs are psa backed. This doesn't make sense. Please explain.

The Eastwood Glass Repair kit(12525) only comes with a hook and loop 3&quot; backing pad and no Diamond Disks. The Eastwood Deep Scratch Glass Repair Kit(12526) comes with both the hook and loop and the smooth face 3&quot; backing pad as well as a set of PSA Diamond disks. If you purchased the Deep Scratch Kit it should have included the smooth face 3&quot; backing pad.

What are the specs/details on the green, blue &amp; orange disc of different grits?

Closest comparison would be: green= 120 grit; blue=220 grit, and orange = 320 grit.
