Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great, very smooth I bought this several months ago not sure what to expect with it. I can say I am very happy with my purchase. It works very smooth, gets into tight spots easily. I let a coworker use it and he bought one for himself.

Does the belt wander or slip off?  I’m using this for sanding in between slats on a table, so I’m  using the flat edge. I bought one similar from harbor freight and every time the belt touched the wood it popped off.

Asked by: Janice
The belt can slip off if held at an angle that makes it walk or if pushing down too hard. Any mini belt sander can have this problem.

With a coarse grit sanding belt you could certainly grind out welds.
