The Eastwood Bucket Top Parts Washer is a convenient way to clean small parts for automobiles lawn equipment or any other small items that needs cleaning.
- Fits most standard 5 gallon plastic buckets

Specifically designed with the DIY automotive enthusiast in mind. It features a Submersible Pump and a sturdy bristle Brush to remove caked on dirt and grime. The Basin design allows it to fit snugly on top of most standard five gallon buckets.
Note - Must use a non solvent water based cleaner.

Perfect size for small jobs.
Very nice small parts washer. I needed something to put in the shop that didn’t take up a lot of room and it is perfect. It feels good and sturdy. It does not snap into a bucket but sits on top of the bucket without moving side to side. It is very easy to get it going and the pump is adjustable to circulate your cleaner fast or slow. I’m very happy with it.

Only one reason 4 stars.....
It's designed for water based . Change it to use in either water OR mineral spirits types and wood be near perfect, especially for road wrenching . Water based soaks fair but needs higher psi spray rinse .
Imagine 2 buckets; one seal top with good cleaner & one to put system in , travel , assemble, use , pack for next stop or garage storage.
Working on cars or machine in driveway; perfect style, but needs chem- based cleaner for pump to be useful ,meaning , pump needs 2 changes ; less volume ( this pump slings too much ) and better seals for REAL Parts cleaner .
The design itself is excellent. I will be using larger system design in 55gal heated barrel of 15gal oil eater, and this very hyperactive pump washing down . The bucket system base cage is excellent keeping sediment separated . Much to like , 2 small changes would make this adaptable and much more useful

Does this have a filter to keep from recirculating grit and metal shavings?
This parts washer does not have a filter. If it becomes apparent that the Pump Intake Grill requires cleaning more often, it is likely that the cleaning solution needs to be replaced and accumulation of sediment from the bucket bottom needs to be removed

Will this work with diesel fuel as a cleaner?
This will only work with waterbased cleaners, diesel fuel would not work.

Why does this have a area with a screen over it, and the other side has 3 large holes with no screen or catcher over them? Seems it would be hard to keep things on one side or the other
This parts washer is designed like this to accommodate uneven parts that need to be washed. Also you will be able to clean a long item by placing your part in the hole with no screen. And the side with the screen would be so your small parts do fall in to the bucket.

What water based cleaners do you recommend for this?

Can this handle washing paint off of parts? I did not see a filter and wonder if it will get clogged or messed up?
Our liquid parts washers are only designed to work with liquid degreaser and are not designed to remove paint.
