Dual Voltage Powder Gun Starter Kit
Review by David -
Quality Price Value This was my first time powder coating anything. This kit is pefect for a beginner. I tried reflective chrome first and I am very pleased with the results. Prep is the key, before and after pre heating. I will recommend this kit to anyone starting for the first time. Thank you Eastwood.

Excellent for a starter kit
Review by Danno -
Quality Price Value This is my first try at powder coating and I went with the Eastwood dual voltage kit. Setup of the gun itself was very easy and the instructions were simple. I would recommend a beginners book on the subject. Preparation of the part to be PC is VERY important. My first project was an aluminum differential cover. I first cleaned and degrease, then media blast and then used Eastwood's chrome and clear powders. Attached are some shots of the cover.
Would definitely recommend this product to a friend -

Excellent tool

Value Quality Price I would highly advise anyone looking to do some powder caoting to use this gun. I have done pulley's in gloss black and they are outstanding. I dropped one of the pulley's on the concrete to test it and while it did mark the surface, it did not break through the coating. I am starting to do pieces for my friends because of the way the finish looks. I have also used the blasted aluminum with great results as well. Stay with the dual voltage gun..it will come in handy!

1st Time Powder Coater
Review by Ryan -
Price Value Quality This is the first time I used a powder coating gun at all, that being said I thought this product performed flawlessly. It is much easier to powder coat parts well than to paint them. When I was powder coating some larger parts I had a little trouble getting powder into the smaller crevices so I switched the gun over to the lower voltage and the powder stuck to the part without any trouble. The dual voltage options is definetly a plus to have. The starter kit was great. But it is only a starter, I'd recommend buying more tape (although aluminum foil works great for larger areas.
Would definetly recommend this product to a friend.
