Return Policy

To initiate a product return, please fill out our Returns form HERE.

Unless otherwise noted, all products carry a 90-day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

If within 90 days of purchase you are dissatisfied with a purchase from Eastwood, you may return and receive a refund or replacement. 

Beyond 90 days, a credit may be offered instead of a full refund. 

  • Hazardous Materials being returned may be subject to a hazardous transportation fee. 
  • Refunds are for the value of the product only. 
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Packaging a Return

Returns should be packaged in original box with original packing materials.  If original box and packing materials are not available, a sturdy box may be used with packing peanuts or newspaper.  It is important to make sure items are secure and well packed in the return box, so that the item does not sustain damage.  If returning an item that was crated, original crate should be used.  If unavailable, a suitable replacement crate should be constructed.  Please contact our Customer Service team at 800-343-9353 with any questions.

All returns must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

Sending returns back without an RMA will delay and slow down the process. Unauthorized returns are not guaranteed to be refunded or replaced - all returns need to be authorized prior to being shipped back. 

Returns with receipt may also be handled in any Eastwood Automotive Tools Store.

When will I receive my refund/replacement?

 

Once an item is returned and inspected, refunds are usually issued/replacements shipped within 7-10 business days. 

 

Limits and Exclusions

 

To help protect our customer and make sure every return or exchange is dealt with fairly this policy is subject to a few important conditions:

Equipment that, in our opinion, has been abused or misused will not be eligible for refund or replacement, even within the warranty period.

 

  • All returns for exchange or refund must be complete, with all parts and accessories.
  • If the return is the fault of the Eastwood Company (manufacturer defect) Eastwood will cover the cost of the return shipping. If the return is customer requested the customer will be responsible for the return shipping.  
  • Shipments that are returned to us as "refused delivery" will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. 
  • Proof of purchase is required 
  • Books, DVDs, Thermometers, Masks, and Respirators are not returnable. 
  • Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable
  • Eastwood holds the right to offer a replacement part over a full replacement. 
  • Valid for all items purchased from Eastwood and authorized distributors of Eastwood tools and supplies. All purchases from an unapproved third party are subject to the policies of the third party. 
  • Single items that ship via truck freight (not normal ground delivery services such as FedEx, UPS, or USPS) must be inspected before accepting delivery and are generally neither refundable nor returnable. Repair parts will be provided during the warranty period. Buyer bears the cost of return shipping and may incur as much as a 25% restocking fee. The buyer will also bear the cost of any storage charges assessed for merchandise that cannot be delivered due to lack of response from the buyer. 
  • If purchased at Eastwood Automotive Tools Stores, the unit may be returned to the store within the warranty period of the manufacturer only.
