Mig135 Welder and Cart Kit is rated 4.9091 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cart is iffy I bought this and the cart has some inherent issues. Other than the picture in the directions is an old one, the new design has the front lip up so you can't pull the welder off the front I guess, the directions use the old configuration. There are also extra parts, not just an extra screw or washer, but they included 8 split/lock washers that were no where in the description of where to use. They also had so many washers they could be used on both the bolt side and the nut side but the directions only called for one on the nut side. Don't get me wrong, I like extras but after doubling the usage I still had more than a dozen extra. The biggest issue is the angle of the top shelf puts the top of the welder several inches into the gas bottle area so this makes the bottle very unstable and the chains are all but useless to secure it. Even with the bottle all the way to the back it still bumps up against the power and gas cables. I didn't know one of my first welding projects would be to fix the welding cart. A little more planning and design could make this chart awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect welder for my application It has been almost 30 years since I have used a mig, I have been wanting to pick one up for a number of years now. This unit was on sale and at a great price, most of the reviews were positive as well as others talking about it on some of the car forums.. I bought mine about a month ago, very easy to set up and seems to be well built. Took about an hour to put the cart and welder together and test it.. First weld was a pretty bad, all operator error.. Second pass and each after were very nice.. Just finished welding up all of the drill holes in the floor of my 69 Chevelle and welded in some buket seat brackets as well.. The machine performed flawlessly.. Great welder for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Welder Bought this mig to do sheet metal repair on cars, it does a great job and you can dial it in so you don't get burn thru. If you use this welder for it's intended use it is great. I have a miller for my heavy welding, but would not hesitate to buy another eastwood welder if mine quit. The cart needs some improvements to work well. It needs a different set up as my bigger tanks hits the welder and you need to push the welder up the cart about 2" and put a block there to hold it away from the tank. Also the welder moves side to side and could fall off. With some mods it will be a good cart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Welder and Nice cart The welder is great for 120V. The cart is good but the only thing is that a 3' tank of gas does not fit too well. The tank hits against the back of the welding unit right where the hose for the gas goes in. It does do flux core also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best for the buck I've had the 135 about a month. No problems at all. Great product for what it's intended. I'm not a welder, but, with a little practice (very little!) my CJ tub now has new side panels and rear quarters that came out really nice. I love this thing. I haven't tried it on anything heavier then sheetmetal, but I expect it to perform flawlessly as usual. The cart, now... leaves a bit to be desired. It's flimsy, in my opinion. I take mine out into the gravel area around my shop and it's definitely not made for offroad use. I use fluxcore wire, so haven't tried a bottle yet on it. Bottom line: honestly, what do you expect for the price of the cart? Maybe i'll modify it into better one with my 135 :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I bought this a couple of weeks ...reading lots of reviews on the mig 135 and I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. Its packaged very well when I received the unit so when the delivery guy throws your welder on the porch and runs off rest assure the unit shouldn't be hurt. When I assembled everything it looked great and sturdy...not cheap and wobbly. I used the welder on my first project of extending the welding cart for 2 bottles and this unit is great and does has a problem penatrating thru 1/4 inch steel ...great buy for money ...I would buy again over hobart 140

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mig135 This is the 1st welder I have owned or used ! I've been needing a welder on the farm for some time, but I had never welded before. Eastwood has made welding easy. With a little practice I have become confident that the welds I make are strong. The more I weld the easier it gets and the better the welds look. Thanks Eastwood for an awesome, easy to use welder.

what type of gauge wire do i need to order

Asked by: willrob
There is 0.023" wire that comes with the unit. IF you are looking to do flux core welding or just looking to use thicker gauge wire I would recommend using 0.035". in either flux core or solid core wire.

Is the cylinder included? The details page states: "•Includes 3-shelf cart for welder and gas cylinder (20232)" but the more info page states: "Welder comes complete (except for the gas cylinder)" Thanks!

Asked by: jayrodoh
No we do not sell or shall i say ship cylinders, they would need to be purchased and picked up separate. We do sell them at our retail locations though.

Never welded before and would like to start do you need to plug this welder into anything but an outlet to start welding Thank you

Asked by: vince21
For the MIG 135 you would just use the standard 110v outlet and it would be good to go
