Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plugweld pliers Great for plugging small holes in sheet metal. Allowed me to fill in small holes in sheet metal without burning a bigger hole. I had to learn its capabilities. At first I would get weld on the metal fork of the tool. You have to weld a small area, grind that weld, relocate tool to complete filling in the hole. I suggest a second version with a longer reach and a little wider fork. Worked great for my application.

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between these [Item #: 19134 Plugweld Pliers] and Item #: 13899 Spot Weld Pliers? [Besides these being $2 cheaper...] There is only 1 picture of the spot weld pliers and in it they are being used, and look the same as these do.

Asked by: Just a guy
The 13899 Spot Weld pliers are included in our spot welding kit. They have identical, flat U-jaws on the upper and lower jaws. See the video for usage and more detail: https://youtu.be/0Pa7zIq3VkE The 19134 Plug Weld pliers have the same flat, U-jaw on the lower for getting your MIG nozzle in, but the upper is a full-size copper backing pad.
