Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and holds up well. The aerosol worked great on a set of headers for a Mustang and the coating looks amazing for a Pierce Arrow exhaust manifold. Zero brush marks when applied so it's not even worth the mess of spraying it. I used the brush on coating on my other Pierce Arrow several years ago and it still looks perfect. Definitely startup the engine with good ventilation while it cures otherwise you might burn up a few brain cells.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Purchased this product because i didn't want to remove my heads from the car. Paint went on easy with a brushand now my headers look great. So far the paint hasn't burned off. Improved the look from rusty looking headers to black. Great product, I can always trust a product from Eastwood to give me the look I want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satin Black High Temp Aerosol I only gave it four stars because it really has not had any extended heat put on it yet. The color matched well with the paint that had been applied several years ago and sprayed on well.

Can this be cured with an oven? Time/temperature?

Asked by: Johncrofton
Ovens can be continuous for high-volume paint curing, Industrial enamels typically require 10 to 30 minutes to cure at 121°C to 204°C (250°F to 400°F). Some improvement in curing time occurs at lower temperatures, even as low at 37.78°C.
