Questions & Answers

What would I need for blasting a 4wheeler frame. Paint and minimum rust

Asked by: Kersey420
You will need to check with your abrasive blaster to determine what grit size it will and will not work with. Our units recommend 80 grit or finer (so 80 or a larger number). Best option for our blasters out of the medias we sell for your specific application would be the Aluminum Oxide.

What is the best media to clean alu wheels od existing powder coat or paint and prepare for powder coating, thanks

Asked by: Zoran
In this case I would recommend using our Down to Metal paint and powder stripper. https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-down-to-metal-paint-powder-stripper.html

Do i have to wear a mask or respirator while using this to sandblast? Also will this work to carve into stone and or rock ? Thanks.

Asked by: Nightsky78
You will definitely need to wear a mask/ respirator while media blasting. Unfortunately since we deal with automotive we have never tested any of our media's or equipment for blasting on stone or rock.
