Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thumbs down, mesh is not fine enough When I strain my media there are many particles that are not sifted out that could potentially clog the nozzle of your media blaster. Utimately, I went to Home Depot in the wall mounted AC section I purchased a foam flexible filter and then placed it over the sifter and it did a much better job of filtering out the paint flakes and other particle that come off while blasting. So really I am just using the sifter as a support for my AC foam filter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too small diameter So far I haven't had any trouble with the mesh size, but the overall diameter is too small. It keep falling into a standard 5 gallon bucket. The overall diameter needs to be increased an inch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from right idea I have found that it filters most of the largest sand. But still plugs up our portable sand blaster. We will try to make a larger hole for it to go through. Shipping was really slow. Thanks for offering a product that is helping us

Can I use sand(masons?) from our local lumber yard or Home Depot? "Good" media is 80 miles away. I have a combo blaster I've had for years (from you) and am just starting to use it on a project. Note: I don't have a facility to collect media after use.

You do not want to use sand ever to blast. Make sure to use Specific medias designed and sold for blasting.
