About Devilbiss Auto Paint and Touch-Up System

Take on any big automotive painting job with this 2-gun DeVilbiss® Kit that includes a large HVLP Gun for top coats, primers and sprayable body fillers (includes 1.8mm and 1.3mm tips), and one Mini Spray Gun for detail work (1.0mm fluid tip). Air inlet for both: 1/4" NPS. Also includes 2 aluminum paint cups (600cc and 130cc), gun-mounted air regulator, and cleaning and adjustment tools. One-year mfr's. warranty. (Q) Will these guns work with any kind of paint?
(A) These were designed for solvent-based paints, primers and clears.

(Q) What are the compressor requirements?
(A) Large gun: 13 cfm @ 30 psi. Detail gun: 8 cfm @ 30 psi.

(Q) How can I learn to paint competently?
(A) Check out Eastwood's full line of training books and DVDs.

(Q) How do I prevent compressor moisture from ruining my paint job?
(A) See our full line of air dryers and filters. Search for "air management".

Always wear a NIOSH-approved respirator, eye protection and skin protection when painting. Consult paint labeling and MSDS for exact safety precautions. Always paint in a ventilated area away from open flames or sparks. Consult local and federal laws when disposing of excess paints, primers, clears and solvents. To increase paint gun life, dissemble and clean the gun as soon as you are done painting.

Guns work great.Although the threads on the paint cup are extremely fine and cross threading happens routinely. The two tips really come in handy and are easy to switch. Overall easy to work with, but cup problem needs a solution.

Great for beginers and will get the job done just fine, but the cups have very poor threads on them and become cross threaded ver easy, however they offer new metal cups for around $30 if this happens.
