Dri Shine Tumbler Media 2 lb

Product Overview:

Description

After de-rusting your parts with the Green Rust Cutting Media, use Dri-ShineIII media to bring up a brilliant luster. Dry Shine brings out the color of the metal and produces a matt to highly reflective finish. A corn cob base is precisely ground, then treated with a proprietary polishing compound for excellent results and much less residue than similar compound-treated walnut shell medias. Product density is 30lbs per square foot.

Questions & Answers

I am trying to polish aluminum pieces with the Dri Shine media. I first used the green media to clean the parts then switched to the Dri Shine. After about 12 hours in the tumbler the parts are just a dull gray, no shine at all. What am I doing wrong ?

Asked by: bill
If your dri shine media has been used several times and is starting to break down- it may need replaced. There are no alternate polishing media options or additives at this time.
