Description

The brown/gray pyramid rust cutting media is to be used for medium rust and paint removal on steel, iron, stainless steel, aluminum, pot metal and copper. The abrasive is blended throughout so that fresh abrasive is constantly exposed to the substrate that is being cleaned. You can continue to reuse the media until it literally disappears.

The media may be either a brown or gray color, but the grit is the same.

Does this media work to Debur fresh cut aluminum t6 6061?

Our medias are tested for rust removal and not deburring fresh cut aluminium. It may work but has never been tested.

What is the best way to clean the dust residue from the 18 lb Tumbler  (Cut Pyramids) cleaning media ? If water is used, what's the best way to dry it ?

I'd recommend using compressed air to blow out the tumbler before and after washing it out.
