- Eastwood Metal Wash 7 oz
I use this with a bit of water in my Eastwood tumbler. I rinse the parts in hot water when done in tumbler. Will the protection it leaves on parts interfere with zinc plating or EW tin/zinc plating? Or should it be removed frm parts somehow be4 plating?
I need to clean a 25-30 gallon fuel tank that came out of a 2001 Ford F150. How many ounces of Metal wash do I need to clean the inside?
How do i remove metal wash from steel. I intend to use a patina and need to apply it to bare steel.
Would this cause any harm to cam bearings if i were to use it on an engine block with fresh bearings?

About Eastwood Metal Wash 7 oz
Metal Wash cleans and protects in one quick step without using harsh or flammable solvents, and promotes topcoat adhesion on bare metal. Mix with hot water; 7 ozs. of concentrate makes 8-10 quarts of solution (or mix 5 level teaspoons with 1 quart of warm water). Apply by dipping or using a pump spray bottle. Metal wash not only removes residual grease and oil but also leaves a protective film behind that prevents rust for up to 3 weeks in dry storage. Metal wash is an excellent prep for any coating. For faster cleaning (without corrosion resistance) use PRE Painting Prep (10041Z).
