Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not recommend So I took my nozzle off and the Spot Weld Nozzle went on smooth. Problem was that it kept going. Since it never got snug, I decided to take it off. The nozzle came off, but the core with the threads stayed on my welder. Not sure what to do with it since I can't weld the core in place and nothing comes to mind of some sort of an epoxy that can handle the temperature the nozzle reaches. If you are able to weld, you shouldn't waste your money. I just thought it would be convenient and may even put down a slightly cleaner weld for a less grinding on bigger jobs where I have a couple dozen or so welds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as designed I have a Hotmax 125. Threads on perfectly, I just leave it on there for tacking and spot welding. I can do one hand, unsupported tacks and spot welds accurately and reliably. Using a copper paddle behind the spot weld helps, and is definitely necessary when you drill all the way through spot welds and leave a big hole like I do. I did drop my mig gun and bend one of the legs. I didn't think I could bend it back without it breaking off, but I did carefully straighten it out without breaking it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works, but... If you want a clean spot weld that requires very little conditioning, I use my spot welder. I only use this when I'm in places that I can't get tongs into. You'll have to clean them up a lot. When I drill out spot welds, and I need to plug weld the holes close, this really comes in handy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tip I bought the eastwood mig 135, and the spot weld tip, I had never welded before, I was working on my 64 c10 door panels, drilled out the spot welds, use the tip how it was instructed and it worked awesome, I then bought the whole eastwood welding set, waiting for it to arrive now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Kind of hard to see where your at. I think I would have better use of it with the spot weld pliers. If you don't know how far your wire stick out should be this will come in very handy. I suggest if you need this to also go with the pliers. Overall not bad.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality Not There The acual performance of the nozzle was fine, with the exception that the inner core (the threaded portion) came out of the nozzle. Tried to epoxy it back in - nothing doing. I looked at other reviews, this is not an uncommon occurrence.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works great for my application welding sheet metal on my 69 Camaro. doing a great job. Only thing I would change is that they should make this to fit multiple welders. I had to modify mine to work on my Miller.

Are you considering making a nozzle like this for a Hobart Slip on type? I bought the kit and will try to modify the screw on type that it is to make it fit on my Hobart 140.
