Rated 2 out of 5 by from disapointment I purchased this tool set based upon the description •Pliers and Bender both bend 3/16" and 1/4" tubing when I received the tools I noticed that I received a bender that has only 3 grooves, crearly marked 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8". I figured that I had received the wrong tool by mistake. I read the instructions that came with the bender and it says to bend 3/16" and 1/4" tubing in the groove labeled 1/4". This is not what I was expecting at all. On the outside of the box the tools were delivered in it says EASTWOOD DO THE JOB RIGHT. Is this how I do the job right, by using the wrong size tool for the job? The tools are good quality but not as described as far as I'm concerned. I am disapointed. sorry

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tool could be improved at minimal cost I used the tool to bend a piece of 5/16 steel brake line tubing and found that it was difficult to use without mounting the bender in a vise which it wasn't designed to do. The right angle bend ended up with a crimped section which didn't effect my intended usage but was unexpected. I think the tool could be improved by a rectangular base for use in a vise or with a bench top bolt down capability. I believe that the problems probably would not occur with soft aluminum or copper tubing but bending steel brake lines are the more likely application for this tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from You Dont Get What is Pictured I just recieved these today so i have not had a chance to use them yet. They appear to be of ok quality. Buyer beware that the item pictured is not what you will recieve. The tubing bender does not have the handle that moves, so that your hands do not have to cross over on a 180 bend. So that is dissapointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Eastwood Tubing Bender Bender isnt exactly as described. Also its poor quality. Poor materials and fitment. Doesn't do well with 3/8 tubing. Why does every one have to send thier production to china. I will pay for USA made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Running new brake lines in project car I purchased the tube bender and forming pliers after searching the Internet high and low. I needed to run new brake lines on a project car I am building. Armed with the bender and pliers I successfully ran the brake lines in one go without a single kink. The bender is simple to use and creates perfect curves, while the pliers are great for those tight spaces and final alignment. Highly recommended and great products, thanks Eastwood!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool I have used several tubing benders in the past, and always disappointed. I have purchased several Eastwood welding tools and never displeased so I took a shot at these. I am very glad I did. So far I have repaired several brake lines with little trouble (practice a little before you bend the keeper line) it took a few attempts to get good bends, but the tool can and will "do the job right". Thanks Eastwood!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, Sturdy tools I purchased this set a month ago to repair a ruptured 1/4" brake line. Since I have no prior experience using this tool it took me approximately 30 minutes to figure out how to make the bends in the proper location. Once started I had competed a 10Ft section of brake line with many unique bends in 2.5 hours. I played around with the pliers on some scrap piece of 3/16th tubing and they seem to put little gouges in the metal around the flat contact area, I took a small dremel with a grinding stone to round out the edges then used a polishing wheel on the dremel with rouge and smoothed everything out. Now the pliers don't leave the nasty little bite marks along the tube like before. Overall I think these tools are a must have for any garage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent tools. It is a number of years since I last used pipe/tubing benders. This one, is really easy to use,and bends are formed without kinks or stress in the tubing. The pliers work really well, and give you tight bends exactly where you need them. All in all,I am pleased with the performance and quality of both tools.
