works good.
100 watt soldering gun works well but takes time soldering slightly heavier objects. I bought this to fix my battery charger alligator clip that had come off. It got hot enough to solder it back on but took more than a couple of minutes or so to get the clip hot enough for the solder to take and make sure the wire would not just pop off again. Should work okay for soldering wire to wire connections.
