Use the wrong tool and you can easily crack the rings. Instead, this spring clutch compressor assures a proper fit on the piston and a positive locking action. Takes all the rings at one setting. Spring clutch eliminates ratchet problems. For larger cylinders 2-1/8" to 5" (54.1-127mm) in diameter.
