ColorBond Adhesion Promoter improves the bond between paint and plastic materials like Polypropylene (PP) and Thermoplastic Olefin (TPO) frequently found on boat seat cushions. Painting plastic materials can be difficult, but our Adhesion Promoter is specially formulated to strengthen the bond between paint and plastic. Great for revitalizing interior components or vinyl boat seat repair, our Adhesion Promoter prevents flaking, cracking and peeling.

I’m trying to paint a plastic bumper cover. Should I apply primer after this? Or should I apply base coat on this?
For best results we still recommend applying a primer between the Adhesion Promoter and the color coat.
