Eastwood Pro Former Tubing Bender is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great results I search for a tubing bender and was scared with the prices that I found. The Eastwood bender had the features that I liked, but some of the reviews contradicted, so I took a chance and bought it. It bends nicely. I tried stainless tubing first, with mixed results. It bends DOM tubing without flaws. I would recommend going slowly when bending. This allows the tube time to stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice working piece A little sloppy where the ram joins the frame, a bit if shimming will take care of that. Nice piece for the backyard restorer.

I'm looking at purchasing this tube bender to bend 1" round stainless tube. What wall thickness can be bent in stainless? I only see carbon and chrome moly steel listed.

Asked by: Balloon Builder Guy
Unfortunetly, Bob G. has too little information given him from the Chinese... And what information was given him, was wrong... And of course (like everything else Chinese) defies all common sense and logic... Speedway Motors offers the very same bender... Rated at... Wait for it... "Max mild steel wall thickness .134" - Chromoloy .096" This bender will bend any "tubing" that will fits the dies. Stainless steel tubing will of course, be tougher... But use common sense here, don't try to bend bar stock or double extra heavy pipe and you should be alright... Add heat when in doubt as these are STEEL DIES not aluminum like the the Speedway model, that costs a full $300.00 more... However, if you have weak, puny little arms, maybe those aluminum dies are for you instead? Bahahaha!!!:)

Can a larger bottle jack be added to bend tubes with a larger wall thickness?

Asked by: Tall Possum
Unfortunately there is not way to modify the design of this unit. We would recommend checking out our High Capacity tubing better for thicker wall projects. https://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-high-capacity-tubing-bender.html
