This aqueous cleaner is designed to clean the bare metal prior to welding to remove contaminants and also used after welding and any grinding to assure a clean panel and to properly "etch" the metal with phosphoric acid for excellent primer and paint adhesion. Package in a 1 quart spray bottle. Do not use on chrome plating or polished aluminum.

Good Product
Seems like a good product to have with your welding supplies. It did a good job cleaning my weld and I think there will be no chance of rust forming. The paint seemed to adhere to the metal well.

Yes, you still want to follow the prep instructions the body filler you are applying states though.

Does after weld require neutralizing or washing off prior to applying epoxy primer?
Wipe area that you applied the after weld to with a clean rag. Than clean the area with something like our Pre Painting Solution.

does this product effect powder coat if used post blast pre-coating?
As long as after using this product you still use a wax and grease remover such as our Pre Painting prep you will be fine.

We have never tested this product in such a manner as it is outside the parameters of it usage.
