purchased this welder assembled it plugged it in and the drive motor will not turn even f I remove the drive wheel the shaft will not turn. trying to run .035 flux core so I will need another knurled drive wheel but the motor needs to work first.

I received a Eastwood MIG 135 welde #12001. I am using .035 flux core weld wire but the wire will not feed threw the torch. The drive wheel turns but it doesn't seem to feed the wire threw the torch. I've adjusted the pressure many times without luck.
We sell knurled drive rollers which helps push flux wire through much better in comparison to these standard drive rollers for solid core MIG wire. Please contact us in Tech at 800-343-9353 so we can determine which one you need.

how do yoy ket the roller off? Mine won't come off
Hello Max,
If you have a key way drive roller and it will not come off, make sure that there are no Alan key openings on the drive roller itself. If there is not Alan key opening, take a small hammer and gently tap on the wheel to get it to brake loose from the shaft. Once it is off take some lubricant grease and place it on the inside of the wheel where it meets the shaft to keep it from ceasing onto the shaft.
