Flip it over for color sanding areas that require some flexibility. Sandpaper wraps around the 5" x 2-1/2" blocks without adhesive in wet or dry applications.

When do you use the blue side? When do you use the black side? I bought these and both sides feel the same when compressed with my thumb.

The blue side is for color sanding and the black is for more aggressive cutting.
