The Eastwood Solid Rivet Kit is designed to install AN470 series aluminum rivets in steel, aluminum. Used to structurally join panels for underhood, door skins, interiors, etc. This kit includes all components required to drive AN470 (round head) rivets in both 1/8 and 3/16 inch diameter. These are the same rivets used on aircraft and high performance race vehicles. A complete instructions included with kit. The kit includes a professional pneumatic rivet gun, 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch rivet sets for round head rivets, universal bucking bar, 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch Cleco kit and 1/4lb of 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch rivets.

Really good toolHad it a few months now and works great. The video on this page was enough to get me started but super easy lay to pick up (it’s my first experience using rivets) wish it had a hard case to keep it all together when not in use but it’s a great tool.

Good starter kit!I've been watching this on the site for years, when an opportunity to buy it for a project came up, I bought it, and I'm glad I did. For a reasonable price, you get everything you need to complete a small-medium project without having to buy more rivets. Definitely enough tools and consumables for you to feel confident in your skills with the process.

Fantastic tool, very fast shippingI repaired some old leaky rivets in a 1956 Sea Nymph boat with ease. Just added some marine sealant to the underside of rivets and the ole girl floats and is now leak free. I also repaired a 1952 Arkansas traveler thats was missing 9 rivets that was temp fixed with jbweld.
Yes, This will work on sheet metal that is under 3/16 thick. you could also purchase seperately the Eastwood 3/16in dia x 5/16in long rivets for sheet metal that is less than 5/16 thick (20141)

Would this work for 1/4" solid aluminum rivets with the correct rivet set?

Yes the Eastwood Solid Rivet Kit(20127) will work for riveting Aluminum hull boats. The kit comes with Aluminum rivets. Follow established guidelines for riveting and sealing Aluminum boats.

Can these be used to secure floor replacement panels when used with a seam sealer?

Yes, these rivets will hold the floor panel in place. Use the seam sealer on the underside of the floors, but you can seam seal the top as well if you feel the need.
