Ordered the wrong board for the welder I had, but the board is 10/10
I bought the wrong board for the "working" welder I ordered from eBay (big mistake, but I can tell the TIG 200 AC/DC is a quality machine). The assembly, PCB and component choice is top notch as far as I'm able to glean from a visual inspection of the board before I (probably) blew it up too in the wrong machine. Put this board in and everything seemed okay until I hit the throttle and heard a pop and smelled the magic smoke. Not saying it was the replacement board's fault or even the wrong board (this machine looked like a schizophrenics nightmare even after UPS got done with it) but I want to stress that the board components, PCB and assembly were top notch as an electrical engineer. the 4/5 stars were based on quality of construction alone, I'm sure it'd be perfect if I had the right welder and it wasn't pummeled into scrap by the previous owner and UPS. Honestly, I can't wait to harvest the load of quality components from it now that I sent the welder back for a refund
