About Diamond Clear Satin/Metal Surfaces Aerosol 11 oz.
Self-leveling, solvent-based, acrylic co-polymer formula resists chips, cracks, fading and yellowing, and resists fuels and temperatures up to 300 degreesF. Ideal in underhood applications (except exhaust manifolds) as it provides an invisible protective barrier on aluminum manifolds, cast alloy valve covers, distributor and alternator housings and more. May slightly dull reflectivity. 11-oz. aerosol covers up to 6 square feet.

11-oz. Diamond Clear™ Satin Clear for Bare Metal Surfaces, Aerosol
Diamond Clear Satin for Bare Metal is a fuel-resistant, heat-resistant-to-300-degreesF barrier that protects clean metal surfaces. Use PRE Painting Prep or Metal Wash (see "Accessories" tab) to clean surfaces to be coated to remove all traces of grease or oil. Applies best at 70 degreesF or warmer with 50% or less humidity; thoroughly cures in 24 hours in those conditions. For best results, apply only one full-flowing coat.

nice product, easy to use and nice finnish

Value Quality Price I have used this on bare metal to "seal" it in to avoid rust. It does a great job. The sheen was perfect so as it was not glossy. I sprayed it on my cast brake rotors and the cast master cylinder to add life to the part without it turning rusty. It went on smooth and I followed the directions to a T. I also used the clear for the painted surfaces with the same success as well..
