The advanced nozzle and valve achieve a paint gun like wide fan pattern for better coverage. Use urethane primer gray under all other 2K Aerospray's after proper prep for a better quality finish. These high temp paints are the highest rated in the industry and withstand up to 650°. Safety Information

Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection when using this product. Product contains Isocyanates, wear NIOSH approved breathing equipment. Always use in a well ventilated area away from open flame. Consult MSDS for specific safety warnings.

Application Tips

Before activating, shake aerosol vigorously for 2 min. Take red button from cap. Turn aerosol by 180° and attach button to pin on aerosol bottom. Place aerosol on firm ground upside down. Press red button with the ball of your hand until stop is reached. After activating, shake aerosol again vigorously for 2 min. Pot life is 48 up to 72 hours at 68 degrees F. Topcoat after 20-30 min.

Questions & Answers

Instructions state that ideal application temperature is 70-85F.  Can I use this in 55-65F temperatures, and if so, how will that impact the results/timing?

You can use it at ANY temperature you want.  BUT, if you want it to work use what the manufacture recommends (70 - 85 F).

will this primer stick to a brand-new oil pan from Milodan, I believe it has a Gold Iridite coating.

Iridite is a Chem Film coating used on aluminum or titanium.  Is the pan either of these materials (Non-magnetic)? If not it is NOT Iridite.  IF it is either of these materials DO NOT remove the gold coating.  DO NOT scuff it, DO NOT use brake cleaner. Use a DAMP non-lint rag with Acetone to wipe the part down quickly, this is done to remove oil and fingerprints.  Then use a Self-Etching Primer.  In VERY light coats, just enough to cover the gold color.

What is best for a bumper?  2K AeroSpray High Temp Ceramic Engine Paint Gloss Black or Eastwood's 2K AeroSpray™ Ceramic Chassis Black?

Neither will give you full UV stability; but out of the two the 2K Ceramic Chassis Black would give some UV protection. We would still recommend applying a fully UV stable clear like our 2K Aerospray clears.
