Description
These handy blind holders are used by custom car builders to hold sheet metal parts before final welding. Very easy to use. Drill a 3/16" hole through both pieces and insert fastener. Each one provides nearly 20 lbs holding power and has a grip range of up to 1/4". Pack of 30. Use with 19074A Compression Pliers.

blind grip fastner, AKA clecos
These clecos have been around the aviation industry for decades and decades, I started using clecos in the mid 60''s and what a fastener, available in 3/32. 1/8 5/32 and 1/4" sizes that I'm aware of but you do need the special pliers to use them and there are several different shapes and designs to access areas in aircraft as well as other applications. The 3/16 size is not a size I recognise but I guess it's out there.
