Are there any advantages of these over V-type couplers with the push to connect is ease of coupling and higher air flow?
They are simply a different design. We do have a hi flow version though https://www.eastwood.com/tru-flate-hi-flor-aluminum-couplers-plugs-10-piece-kit.html
