Good value - accurate and easy-to-use.
I am the Chairman of a retirement community woodworkers' shop and we purchase all of our own equipment. We recently bought a bench top drill press of another make and found it so poorly made, we couldn't use it. We found this one and put it into use immediately upon receipt. It is smooth, accurate and has most of the features we wanted - digital speed control (no belt changes to change speeds) and quiet operation. It lacks only a depth stop to make it complete.

Not even close to worth the money
Don’t waste your money. When you get it everything is unimpressive and definitely not a $450 machine. Directions for assembly are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. Laser light is so cheap it’s not even a mention worthy feature. The table is extremely hard to move up and down. Packaged terribly and came with a bunch. End rant. Don’t buy it.

Sad Excuse for a Drill Press
I purchased this drill press - not expecting a "great" machine but also not expecting a product of such inferior quality. Unfortunately, I was a machinist when I was younger and use many really old pieces of equipment. This Drill press is being sold at about $450.00 it is a $150.00 piece of equipment - and I am being generous. Try to find a used Delta, Dayton or Clausing as I continue to do.

Are they made in the USA using parts made in USA?
No! This machine is not made in the US and US parts are not used in its assemble. I erroneously purchased one I am attempting to return. A used Dayton, Clausing or Delta will be a better machine. I was a machinist in an earlier life and should have know better than to purchase something that was touted as something too good to be true!
