Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 54 Ford Effie Project Works great for punching holes in sheet metal to do spot welding of panels

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice clean consistent hole Makes real nice clean holes. I used this to make holes for spot welds on a rear package tray, took some effort to get the holes punch, as i had to brace the bottom handle, the use upper body strength to get the holes punched. Swapping out dies is a real pain at first, but once you get figure it gets easier.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hole punch Works well for standard steel. The dies don’t hold up well to 20 gauge stainless steel work for very long. It would be nice if I could just order extras of warn dies...

I'm making notebooks. Can it be used to cut through chipboard, card stock, or cardboard etc?

Asked by: Mrsjackson
Yes this can cut through those items but very thin carboard (close to paper thin) might not have as clean of a punch. Also a corrugated cardboard may also cut poorly. We've used it on 1/8" thick chipboard and it worked well.

I need to restore a steering wheel in an early Mustang.I need to make the tiny fake rivets and need a punch like this one. What I need to know is what the pieces that are punched out will look like after the punch. Are the perfectly round?

Asked by: KoriHorn
Yes this will produce perfectly round cuts.

Will this punch through nickel metal, I am looking to get a hole punch to go through some tags I will be making. My tags are 14 gauge nickel

Asked by: Abcdefg
That would be at the maximum rating of the punch. It may do the job but would require a fair amount of force.

The specs list six die sizes but says seven dies come in the kit, the photo also shows seven dies. is there a duplicate set in the kit?

Asked by: Blewbird
We apologize for the confusion. This was a type on our website and instructions. The listings are missing the 7th die size of 3/16".
