Handy & Convenient!
So far so good. Handy little tool for bending light brackets. Quite convenient just to run over to the vise for a quick bend.

Perfect for small jobs needing quality bends.
I installed the 4" brake in my 5 1/2" vise.
I tested on some scrap 4130 plate, .063" and .080", it took some muscle, as expected on the .080 but bent it with no trouble. Then I made some actual parts. These are rudder pedals, I needed these to be handed. They are .080" 4130 steel.
I copied originals, cut out and cleaned up the edges and marked my bend line. Put it in the brake and a few seconds later my part was complete. The new ones I made are the blue ones.
I wanted the 6" brake but the secs say it must be a 6" or more vise. Assuming it's the same design it will fit on a narrow vise, the magnets are not at the ends. But the 4" should meet all my needs.

4” finger vice break
This sure beats the old way of hammering a piece of metal over to form a 90° Angle
It makes crisp angles effortlessly with just a few turns of my vice handle
I recommend the 4” vice finger break , and it’s made really well for long lasting service

Worked great!
Worked well to fabricate some brackets out 1/8" x 1 flat bar. I wouldn't expect to bend too much heavier than that with the vice I have. Maybe with a heavy duty vice.

Well worth the investment
Created a clean accurate 90-degree bend in a 16ga sheet metal bracket I built for a 1975 Norton Commando motorcycle project. I've been banging brackets in the vise with a hammer for years. It's works, but it's never pretty. Well worth the investment.

Issues with my 4" Vise Press Brake
Issues with my 4" Vise Press Brake?? No, there are none. This thing is awesome. Suits all my needs. I'm mostly bending thin sheet metal found at the big box home improvement stores. If that's what you're up to, continue reading....
This is a great metal brake for small DIY projects. Was able to bend a 1/8" tabs precisely out of 3/32 stock with Oswald accuracy. The magnets that stick it to the vice are no joke. You will not have a problem with this falling off. Repositionable jaws make the brake pretty versatile for all kinds of bends. If you have a need for one of these and are on the fence about the purchase, believe me it's worth the investment. You'll get instant dividends from the amount of time you'll save trying to build a brake off a YouTube vid or bending the metal manually with pliers.<-- Ask me how I know...
Price was fair. Shipped on time. Arrived in a polybag with light coat of machine oil for protection. What else could you possibly ask for? Legit product from a company.

Works Great!
I bought this for making brackets and small jobs. Quick and easy to set up. Appears to e heavy duty and well made. Magnets are very Strong! I tried it on a couple pieces of scrap stock and I was impressed with how good of a bend it creates. I am using it on a 5” vise.

Questions & Answers
Are replacement "finger" available?
No replacement parts available for this item.

I asked this question 10 months ago and never got an answer. Let's see what happens this time. How close to the end of the material can a bend be made? For example, I have 1.25" wide flat bar stock and want to make a bend 3/4" from the end.
3/4" should work perfect. The minimum I was able to get with 18 gauge steel was about 3/8" from edge.
Note that the 6" version of this product is a little larger and the minimum I would recommend is about 1/2" from edge with that product.

Will this bend 1/8" thick steel if it is only 1" wide?
Unfortunately as this is well past the rated specification of the unit we have not ever tested something so thick.

Is this wobbly? Does it clamp to the vise jaws to stop brake fingers from tipping down? Thx.
