A vise bolted solidly to a bench is the cornerstone from which a workshop is built. This 6 inch industrial quality, ductile iron vise is as solid as they come. It features a lockable swivel mount, 6 inch wide jaws and an anvil body. The handles and screw are chrome plated, and the rest of the vise is a durable Eastwood blue, so it will continue to look good for many years of service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 6" (?) Vice I ordered and paid for a 6" vice. I thought it was a great price compared to others I had seen and it looked good on line. Order process worked well and delivery was prompt. However, they sent me an 8" vice instead (hence the ? mark above) which is great. It's heavy and sturdy, doesn't seem to have any play in it. Have not mounted to my work bench yet.

Will this vise swivel 90 degrees? It’s hard to believe it swivels 360 degrees as a question seem to indicate.

What are the bolt down dimensions of the 6" bench vice. The 8" , I'm sorry to say, is too big for my predrilled slate bench top.

Front two holes are 5.5 inches apart and front to back hole is approximately 7.25 inches.
