Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW impressive right out of the box! Very impressed with this vise, fast shipping, very well boxed, one plus not mentioned is the 360 degree swivel double lock isn't just a friction lock, it's also cogged tooth for a very positive lock. Tim the "Tool Man Taylor" would be very pleased to own this vise!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and well built I thought about purchasing a 6 inch vise but for twenty dollars more I went for the 8 inch vise figuring it would handle anything I could possibly need to clamp. Right out of the box the vise was impressive and more weighty than I anticipated. I mounted it to the welding table and it put it to use. The vise components are well made, the movement of the jaws are smooth and the 360 degree rotation of the vise allows the jaws to swing over both edges of the table. I may get another for my wood working table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A worthy weld shop vice In need of an alpha vice for a welding shop, I looked around locally for a used Wilton or like and came up short. A web search out and this popped up and pulled the trigger--the price is great for the quality of it, so far. Its very stout and largely built. No wobble and it feels well made in the thread. There are 2 rotating secure knobs, one a side. Having a tough time coming up with a con., but unless the bolt breaks upon use, i find it hard to beat, even compared to the used market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from To many years in the waiting I just purchased this 8" vise at the Pottstown store. It is a replacement for an older (45 year old) industrial vise. put it to work right after mounting to workbench. Could not believe the difference a new vise made in simple tasks. The jaws are machined so clamping is easy and you do not have to crank down on the handle. I should have purchased this one years ago.
