High Temp Ceramic PaintApplied this paint on a custom fabricated grill for a HUGE Cowboy fan with impressive results. Application was solid, color was close enough to the team’s color but all in all worth every penny.

The perfect engine paintI have used this paint twice and have been more than pleased each time. I used Eastwood's Concourse Pro paint gun with a 1.7 tip. Mixed with a little reducer, two light to medium coats followed with a third heavy coat seems to be best for the engine block. It lays down beautifully on the valve covers and air filter assembly as well.
It handles the heat without fading or discoloration.
The perfect paint for the show quality job.
Could I paint the whole car with Eastwood Ceramic Engine Paint Ford Dark Blue?
Asked by: john
That is not the designed application, it is for engines and heat resistance, but you could if that's your choice.

Does the current version of this paint protect against coolant? I used the product several years ago and had a leak in my overflow tank, which caused coolant to drip on the engine and it etched the paint white wherever it dripped, which was disappointing
Asked by: Tinkerman
I have no information regarding the Ceramic protecting against coolant. It also depends on the type of coolant so Ii cannot provide accurate information regarding the chemistry associated with the coolant

Just taken delivery of a 500ml can of this paint. It has an unusual white plastic rim with the metal lid inset. There are no instructions on how to open this up. I don't want to damage the can or lid when I attempt to open the can. How do I do this.?
Asked by: Eddie
You can just cut the security White plastic rim. There may be a marking on where to proceed.
After the plactic rim is removed it is just like any other can/lid.
