Chevy orange looks like candy.painted directly over metal, looks too orange, kinda like chevy orange, gonna scuff it up and put down a layer of red oxide sealer, to see if I can get a slight red hugh reflection behind the orange. Paint laid down and looks like candy after it dried, just wish it was closer to Hemi Orange. would add a pic if I could.

Not very good paint. The paint does not cover well. Especially to higher areas. Took three coats by a professional body shop even with the harder activator. They actually said it was the worst paint they’ve ever used. I am still trying to touch up areas with a foam brush. Yes the surface was well prepped. It takes a very long time for this paint to cure even with baking.
What is the purpose of the Eastwood 4:1 Urethane Activator? Is it mixed with the Ceramic Engine Paint?
Asked by: Braydun
It is the hardener or activator, which is mixed at time of application that allows the paint to start the curing process and gives it the durability that non 2k aerosol paints don't have.

can you spray engine enamel without primer or do you need to use a primer for best results?
Asked by: Aaron
Start with a high-heat engine primer for maximum corrosion resistance and uniformity of your top coat color. Apply primer and top coat engine color with a light “tack” color first to avoid runs and sags.

What's the pot life of this paint if it has never been opened?
Asked by: Cjs1994
Pot life is about 90 minutes once activated. Shelf life if unmixed, sealed and stored in temperature controlled environment then we would warranty for 90 days from the purchase date but they should be able to last a year or two if stored accordingly.
